Wedding MC Checklist - Tip #1

You’ve been asked to be the wedding emcee at a forthcoming wedding.

You’re honored and flattered with the request but you don’t know what an mc does at a wedding.

If you’ve never been a wedding emcee before, then chances are you don’t know what to do or what to say.

(Of course, if you have been a wedding mc at a previous wedding reception, then you know it takes a huge amount of preparation to make the reception a wonderful memory for the bride and groom.)

Here is our first Wedding MC Checklist tip for the Wedding Emcee.

• Find out what the wedding planners want you to do as Wedding MC •

The bride and the mother of the bride and sometimes a professional wedding planner will usually be planning the wedding and will have certain expectations about how the wedding agenda should be followed.

Your first duty as a Wedding Emcee is to discuss with the wedding planners what they expect the Wedding Emcee to do during the wedding reception.
