• Prepare the Wedding MC speech •
The Wedding MC may be asked to give a wedding speech honoring the bride and groom.
Alternatively, a wedding speaker may not be available, in which case you, as the wedding emcee, may have to step in to give a wedding speech.
There is one other speech that the wedding emcee gives - the Wedding MC’s Opening Speech - during which the wedding guests are welcomed to the wedding reception and the wedding couple’s parents, the wedding party, and the bride and groom are formally introduced and announced to the wedding guests. The Wedding MC’s Opening Speech is completely different than the Wedding MC’s Speech.
The Wedding Emcee’s Speech and Opening Speech should be practiced until you are confident giving them.
